APRIL 2007
It looks like I'm going to take the long trip to good old Holland to visit and experience the new REAL-X indoor skate park in tiny little Apelldoorn Holland. while i'm there I will try to take tons of pix and skate everything the Dutch has to offer. I tried to make it out to Phoenix to check out a contest and visit friends but weather and money weren't right but it looks like june might work. still looking for some one to upgrade my website. any takers?... checked out the new skate park in Bolinas, the most unfriendly town around. the park is cool and the scenery is also but stay away from the farmers yards!!!!
MARCH 2007
things are startiing to look good in the city. Portero del sol is getting started and talks are underway for the golden gate park skate park. there has been articles in the chronicle about skating in the city and it seems the skaters have been taking back there turf. it's been too long that we run from the law instead of making the law work for us. or so it seems. check out all the new info on skate parks development in the city. I have closed the e shop cause I am too busy and instead have set up more links to cool cats who sell cool stuff. check out all their site and let them know your keep things real in the city. i seemed to have messed up my photo of the moment page so no photos now but i will be road trippin to the AZ/AM in pheonix to get more pix, check out the contest page for more info. finally, brother dave is getting set to open REAL-X again in his small little village in Holland. he plans to open at the end of april and i will be visiting to show them how we do it in the city!!!
pleas take a moment to send me your e mail if you want to know more about city hall skate park planning meetings and info on how to support skate boarding in our great city.

My REAL-X story.....
me
I started REAL-X(415) after taking pictures of skaters for my
brother Dave who runs Real-X, an indoor skatepark in Appeldoorn
Holland. He started Real-X by have local skaters sign up on the
internet and try to convince the city to build an indoor park ( it's
friggin' cold in Holland!) they were successful and he now gets to
skate all day, any day.
Dave
After
shooting pix for awhile and recovering from multiple physical ailments,
I went to DLXSF and bought a new board (Krooked, Thunder,Spitfire 50mm)
and rode about a mile all the way home without falling! I found what I
was missing. After 20 years I could still ride, the exercise made my
ailments disappear and I felt great.
Then in Dec 2005 I was told that there were some skaters under the
Deboce underpass shredding up a junk park that they created. I went and
helped build some of the ramps and I found a grind rail in a junk yard,
I was totally into it.The junk park stayed for a while and many kids
started showing up, and then one day it was gone and they put in a
parking lot. I got really mad cause now I had no place to skate! I
decided I would start REAL-X(415) to create an indoor park in the San
Francisco just like my brother had. (check out www.real-x.org it's in dutch so just look at the pictures and films!!)
Thanks for reading my little story now.....
GO OUT AND SKATE!
